Using your computer to surf the web emits carbon dioxide. Considering the amount of time I spend online, I know that I am contributing even more to my carbon footprint. By simply blogging about the initiative and putting a button on a person's blog, the Arbor Day Foundation would plant a tree to help the reforestation of Plumas National Forest. Theoretically, this tree would neutralize your blog's carbon footprint for the next 50 years. Pretty cool.
Looks like I may have missed the boat on this (spring through summer 2010), but I think this worth blogging about nonetheless.
